Holualoa Elementary School's Winterfest: A Holiday Celebration
In December, Holualoa Elementary School celebrates this special time of year with our annual Winterfest. Students, families and community members come together at the school for a day filled with holiday music, hula and cheer.
Students are seated on the field by their grade level and class. Parents, family members and friends sit on the bleachers or in their own lawn chairs to watch each grade level perform a special song that they have been practicing for weeks. The program often includes hula, chants and even a special visit from Santa.
Our Parent Teacher Organization arranges a bake sale offering handmade treats and snacks. All proceeds benefit classrooms and student learning. This collaborative spirit embodies the essence of the holiday season – giving back and spreading joy.
Holualoa Elementary School's Winterfest brings joy, togetherness, and festive cheer to the school community. It's a day filled with laughter, creativity, and a sense of community spirit, making it a cherished tradition for students, families, and the broader Holualoa community.
